Every year, Maple Dale’s 7th-grade students have the exciting opportunity to engage in Camp Manito-wish’s Leadership experience.

​

The purpose of the trip is for students to build a sense of community, kindness, and leadership skills. Along the way, students will also build self-confidence and establish trust with one another as they advance from low ropes challenges to the high ropes courses.

The camp experience is designed to promote an understanding of one another and enhance leadership skills. Students generally return from camp with increased empathy and patience with their peers, resulting in a reduction of peer conflicts and improved academic and social performance.
