Maple Dale School Principal
Welcome to Maple Dale School. We are dedicated to continually improving student achievement. To do that, we believe it is essential to work closely with families. It is through coordination of academic programming, events, and community outreach that we maximize the school experience for our students.
I am proud to be the principal of Maple Dale. I have been an educator for over 25 years, working with students from 4-year-old kindergarten, learning how to manage school for the first time, to twelfth graders preparing for life with a variety of options.
At Maple Dale we work in teams to establish what is essential for our students at each grade level. We then use a variety of assessments to better know how to respond to what our students can demonstrate. We focus on challenging our students to strive just beyond what they think they are capable of in their learning. We support that learning through collaboration and implementing researched best practices.
We are proud to partner with you in educating your children. Please know that you are always welcome at Maple Dale and it is through teamwork and open communication that we achieve to our greatest potential.

Indian Hill School Principal
I am thrilled to begin my third year as the principal of Indian Hill School. I come from an elementary teaching background in the Chicago Public Schools and in the Milwaukee Public Schools. I have served as a Reading Specialist in the School District of Greenfield and as a Literacy Coach at Stormonth Elementary in the Fox Point-Bayside School District for five years prior to come to MDIH. I hold two Master’s degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Administrative Leadership from UWM, and also hold my Reading Teacher and Reading Specialist licenses. I have taught an undergraduate course at UWM and have been trained in Writing Workshop at The Teacher’s College at Columbia University in New York.
I am so eager to see what this year will bring for our students. The teachers and staff at Indian Hill School are an incredibly talented and dedicated group of educators who strive to achieve growth for all of our students. Our staff nurture the whole child; socially, emotionally and academically. I am committed to building strong family and community connections to our school and I know that together we will ensure success for all of our students in the 2019-2020 school year.
