Online registration for the summer program has opened. MDIH families have received an IC email blast with instructions for online registration and summer program course selection. As a reminder, the summer program runs:

  • June 17-July 18, 2024 

  • Monday through Thursday

  • 8:30-11:30 a.m.

  • There will be no summer school on Thursday, July 4

Click here to view the MDIH Summer Education Program guide, which includes robust offerings in academics, athletics, and the arts. The guide also includes information on Milestones Programs for Children Wrap Care, which is being offered onsite until 5:30 p.m. at Maple Dale for the duration of the summer school program. 

A MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

 

Families:

 

In June 2023, leadership from the four partner districts (superintendent, business, curriculum, student services, technology, principals) met to develop shared stretch goals for each administrative area. The goal we set for superintendents was to create a podcast as a means to increase shared communication and transparency around topics that are important to our families and school communities. We felt this effort would help families understand how this collaboration provides consistency across the districts while allowing for differentiation to meet the unique needs of our individual district families. 

 

We recently completed the production of our very first podcast, addressing the topic of mental health and how mental health needs are addressed in each of our districts. We are very proud to share this podcast with you using this link:

This podcast was produced by students in Nicolet’s multimedia program who developed interview questions, edited the recording, and created the final product. It was a great learning experience for all involved. We look forward to creating additional podcasts throughout the school year in keeping with our communication goal.
