Applying for Free/Reduced Lunch

Families can now apply online for free/reduced lunch benefits by logging into their Infinite Campus portal account. Paper copies of the application form are available in both school offices, as well.

Families need only submit one application per household, even if students attend both Maple Dale and Indian Hill Schools. The application must be filled out completely in order to certify your child(ren) for free or reduced-price school lunch. Application for free/reduced lunch benefits can be made at any time throughout the school year.  

Paper applications should be returned to:  MDIH School District, 8377 N. Port Washington Road, Fox Point, 53217  Attn: Sue Simpson Bark. Applications are processed daily and applicants are notified in writing whether or not they qualify for free/reduced-price meals.

Households that qualify for free/reduced price meals can choose to used that designation to waive or reduce school registration and field trip fees, as well as PTO-sponsored programs. Parent/guardian may indicate this as part of online application.  Otherwise, they must sign a Consent to Share form and return it to: MDIH School District, 8377 N. Port Washington Road, Fox Point, WI 53217, Attn: Sue Simpson Bark.

Instructions

  1. Log in to the IC Parent Portal (ICPP) here.
  2. Sign in using your user name and password.
    If you have not activated your ICPP account, please contact the school office to request a copy of your Activation Key and instructions for establishing your ICPP account
  3. At the top left, click on the three lines to access menu.
  4. Click on More.
  5. Click on Meal Benefits.
  6. Click on the blue hyperlink that states, “click here to start the application process”.
  7. You will be asked to create a 5-digit PIN that will allow you to access the information on this federal fund application form in the future.
  8. Follow prompts to confirm all household members and income.
  9. Before submitting the application, you may give permission to share eligibility status with district staff for:
    - Registration
    - PTO-sponsored events
    If you choose “yes” and you qualify for meal benefits, your registration and or PTO-sponsored event fees will be waived or reduced depending on your eligibility status.
