Our Our Facilities
The Facilities Department oversees the day-to-day operations of buildings and grounds as well as the long-term capital improvement plan to ensure the proper upkeep and future health of district properties.
To that end, the district annually updates a long-term capital improvement plan (CIP).
The MDIH School Board believes that part of being a good fiscal steward involves strategically planning for and funding a long-term CIP trust fund (Fund 46). To date, the district has saved over $1,000,000 for planned and preventative future projects, as well as emergencies.
