Indian Hill Students Spent the Morning at Maple Dale
It proved to be an exciting morning for our students at Indian Hill. They took an unplanned field trip to Maple Dale this morning. A mechanical issue with the boilers caused loss of heat and despite early morning repair efforts, classrooms were too cold at the start of the day to hold classes. The heating system at Indian Hill is one of the aging mechanicals identified for full replacement as part of the proposed referendum.
Indian Hill families were alerted through the Infinite Campus messaging system throughout the event. Students and staff followed procedures to move students and hold classes at Maple Dale. A special thank you to the Maple Dale students and staff for greeting Indian Hill students and making room accommodations. Our Indian Hill students and staff were amazing - this is what learning looked like after their arrival...
