DARE Graduation

Fifth grade students completed the DARE program and “graduated” on Monday, December 16. Students worked once a week with Officer Bastress from the Fox Point Police Department for the last 10 weeks to build their good decision making skills. Students also learned about some of the dangers associated with using drugs and alcohol. To showcase learning, students also completed an essay explaining their key learning from the DARE program and how they can apply what they learned into their own lives. Congratulations to our top two 5th grade essay writers, Annika and Aadya, as well as to all 5th grade students for their hard work, and thanks again to Officer Bastress for being an awesome DARE teacher.
